Photography Workshop in March

There have been many people ask us about doing a workshop. So we are officially testing the waters and see how much interest is out there. As I do with everything, if I am going to put together a workshop then I want it to the best it can be. So the plan is to have it in mid March for two days and not be two days of lecturing but make it hands on. I want this workshop to be a balance between portraits and weddings and the first day is about shooting. We will have many models and spend some time in the studio doing some very cool lighting and then we are going to be on location and even plan a night shoot. This first day is going to be a very long day of shooting a wide variety of different type of models and many locations. So be prepared to learn a lot and have a great time, bring your camera because you will be able to shoot and gather some great portfolio images. During the second day we will critique your favorite images from the first day of shooting and then spend time going over lighting and ways to take your photography to the next level. We are going to limit the class to around 10 people so it will be intimate and more personal. Please contact me by e-mail or call me if you are interested. 770-993-6059 or mike@morelandphoto.com

Finding the Magic
Josh and Meghan, December 15, 2007

I knew when we photographed their engagement shoot this was going to be a very special wedding and it was Big Time. I was so honored to be part their very special day and it was a very special day because Josh and Meghan waited and never compromised to find that magic with that special someone they want to spend the rest of their lives with. You can see it and feel it, they did not settle... they found someone that they can share the magic with forever. You can see that their love is so genuine which made it such an incredible experience capturing their story. Sure this wedding was at a small church in Covington Georgia but the photography could have been a spread for a fashion magazine. Meghan was so beautiful and I loved the vintage veil and Josh glowed when he was around her. The shots below just scratch the surface of the incredible story of their wedding.
