Tornado Hits The Studio

Early Tuesday morning a tornado hit the studio without warning while I was walking down the hallway. 40 trees were pulled out of the ground and thrown with several of them slamming through the studio and on my car. As dramatic as this was, we are very fortunate that nobody was hurt, our computers, client files, or equipment were not damaged at all. We have always taken precaution by having our editors keep a copy of all jobs at their location in addition to being stored at our location and our album designers also have a copy of all albums and books at their location. We have also been very lucky to find Arnol Tree Service because they have been clearing the trees and removing them so quickly. We expect to have the grounds back to normal by next week and we have relocated our office and studio until our studio is repaired. Our workshop will still happen but it will be scheduled at another location to be determined by next week.

Wow! A picture is definetly worth a thousand words. I couldn't imagine until I saw the photos how bad the destruction was. Thankfully no one was injured. Hope everything is back to normal as soon as possible.

Mike,

I am glad that everyone is alright there - that's devastating. Hopefully everything can be patched up quickly and all will be back to normal.

The pictures from our wedding on the blog are fantastic. You did an amazing job.
